During a visit to my GP at Malling Health Centre (Wellington) in March 2014 I mentioned that I was experiencing a degree of hearing loss. On inspection my GP discovered a build-up of wax in both ears, and recommended that I had them syringed. This was carried out until clear of wax.
I then made an appointment to see the GP in May at which time I was told that I would be referred to TRAQS. Shortly afterwards I was made to visit Specsavers (Wellington) for a hearing test at the end of May.
Tests were carried out and I was fitted with hearing aids which have considerably improved my hearing. I am due to go back to Specsavers in two weeks’ time for a follow up.
