"I never felt alone"

About: Scottish Ambulance Service Western Isles Hospital / Accident & Emergency Western Isles Hospital / General Medicine Western Isles Hospital / Trauma & orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I was on an eight day trip round Scottish islands. On the forth day I came off the bike, where a lovely lady took me to a medical centre in her 4x4 pickup as well as my bike. Where a beautiful nurse looked after me until the ambulance arrived. Then for ten days western islands hospital looked after me with five broken ribs, lacerated spleen and bruised heart and I would just like to thank them all. Food was lovely. The staff extremely caring and soon got me back on my feet. I live in Rochdale, England and never felt alone.
