I went to the Muscular-Skeletal Clinic in Litherland, and was then referred to Aintree. I didn't have to wait long for an appointment - I had to cancel the appointment but was given a new one a few days later for a Saturday. The Theatre staff were lovely, chatted with me, and the epidural staff were lovely too. The after care staff was nice too. The same nurse took me for a shower every morning. The ward's cleanliness was excellent, ward 16.
Staff put me in a taxi and followed me home, but someone was there already and checked that everything was ok. After care at home was good, a physio, nurse and occupational therapist were involved. The check-up at Aintree was fine as well.
