"emergency eye clinic"

About: Stoke Mandeville Hospital

I was referred by GP thursday 25th July and having treatment for retinal tear at 4pm Friday which took 2 hours; review and check on the Monday meant additional laser work followed by admission for treatment by cryopexy on the Tuesday. All I can say is that the whole process and staff were amazing and all was done very efficiently. Hopefully I am fixed for the time being. Only criticism is the first consultant I saw didn't seem to have done a thorough job with the laser so had further work done on the Monday by a consultant who seemed much more proficient
