"In pain - is there anyone out there?"

I have been pushed from pillar to post trying to receive pain relief for over a week now. I left a message with the Rheumatology secretary asking if someone could contact me - I am still waiting for a response. After trying by emailing the rehumotology specialist nurse and was told to contact my own doctor (another 48 hrs lapsed) my doctor has advised this should be dealt with by the hospital. Despite leaving a message again no one has contacted me - I have no idea which way to turn as the pain is excruciating.
