I am currently 21+3 weeks pregnant. I'm supposed to go for a blood sugar test during my 28th week, but my notes reveal that my appointment for that test is on 07.08.2014 - when I am only 22 weeks. Called the maternity helpline (as I appear to have no direct number to contact my MW) and they advised me to call the clinic to rearrange/correct/clarify my appointment. I called the number I was given yesterday and was on hold for 45 minutes being 'next in line' and then gave up frustrated. Same situation today - was 'next in line' for 20 minutes then complete silence while still appearing to be connected to the call. Called back, turned out to be '5th in line', waited to be connected for an hour with no luck. I am superbly frustrated with this whole experience.
"antenatal cliniic - phone waiting time atrocious!"
