"Not a good experience"

About: Royal Stoke University Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I did not have a good experience at stoke hospital- food wise, I have had pancreatic cancer- where they removed my bile duct, head of the pancreas + gall bladder.

I had a whipple procedure. Wonderful success but the ward I was in was very disturbing, they served the food from the trolley (heated from the middle of my ward).

I could not eat and the smell made me feel sick. It was very depressing. I had to get out as soon as I could. Otherwise all previous experiences have been very caring.
