Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback regarding the issues with car parking. I am sorry that it is difficult to find a space at times for our patients and visitors. In the past year we have opened 78 new spaces for the visitors to use for parking and we also hope to convert another 34 spaces to visitors over the next 2 months coming in gate 4, Maternity entrance. We have a dedicated bus service running every 15 minutes from slough station direct to the trust taking normally 10 minutes to get here. For staff we have a cycle to work scheme, a car share scheme and a further off site car park for 200 spaces. In the long term if given planning permission we hope to open a further 500 spaces in several phases to help ease congestion within the car park facilities as this is one of the trust priorities. Assuming planning permission is granted we hope to have the new car parking spaces by April 2015. Thank you again for your comments Kind Regards Claire Marshall Associate Director of Patient Experience and Public Involvement
