I have visited Bassetlaw Hospital today for a pre-assessment before surgery on Friday.

I was just struck by how polite everyone was that I came into contact with - from initial booking in at Outpatients, to being physically directed to the department I needed to go to, support staff and great nursing staff who undertook the assessment.

They were kind, caring and we had a laugh. I was also out within 40 minutes. Really aware that I had taken the time earlier in the day to comment on a bad service elsewhere and felt I needed to say great job.
