From initial diagnosis to treatment the urology service has been excellent. The only fly in the ointment was a snappish and rude phlebotomist with a poor technique.But that was the blood room in out patients. Iris ward it self was extremely well organised and highly professional and the quality and attitude of the nursing staff was amongst the best I have ever seen. I should know : I been a nurse for 24 years and worked in many parts of the world. Its only a pity that the other patients and especially relatives weren't so appreciative. The amount of nitpicking and complaining that went on was shameful. The public really have been spoilt by the NHS over the years. But to the credit of the staff they took it all in their stride. I was prepared for a poor experience but had exactly the opposite. This service is a credit to the NHS. Well done.
