"Conclusion of previous feedback"

About: Wexham Park Hospital

After leaving the previous negative review, there continued to be a long wait for appointments to see a doctor, however the staff came out to advise that all patients were experiencing a six and a half hour wait. They also advised us of our position in the queue. It took 6 hours for us to finally be seen. In that time the condition of the toilets deteriorated; with no toilet roll and a blood splatter on one of the walls. Once finally seen though, the staff couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. We appreciate that there were less staff than usual operating on a very busy day. It would have been a big stress reliever to have been informed at an earlier point of the delays being experienced.

Thank you for the update. I have responded to your first review as well. I am pleased to hear that the staff did provide an update for you and agree that it would have been helpful if you had that information earlier. I am sorry that the toilets were not checked and cleaned, and will forward your comments onto Mark Johnston-Wood, Director of Estates and Facilities to ensure extra cleaning takes place when the department is busy. It is helpful to know that the staff were helpful and nice when you did get to see them. I will share that with the team. Kind Regards Claire Marshall Associate Director of Patient Experience and Public Involvement
