"ccu and littondale wards both had a urine smell..."

About: Harrogate District Hospital

i have been admitted to both wards in recent weeks and the smell of urine was overpowering in ccu the nurse wiped down the locker and moped the floor but it was still there glad i was discharged the next day littondale ward was shocking urine on the floor terrible smell due to the ward been very hot,my procedure required me taking drink that emptied my bowel ,the nearest toilet to me had No hand wash liquid left in both of them i informed the staff on the desk about this and the urine on the floor in our ward at about 6pm ok we will sort it out ,but there are other toilets you can use yes if that one had toilet paper in!by 5.30a.m. when neither issue had been resolved i discharged myself in disgust at the lack of cleaning and still both toilets had not been sorted out i was told its not our job to fill soap dispencers or mop floors by a very rude nurse and then she told me i could not go or she would call the police and report me missing! to which i said do worry i will do it now and tell them the reason i am discharging myself shocking hospitals are not prisons and people are free to leave If i can change my hospital for future admissions i will if not i will refuse treatment from here
