"Treatment for 7 year old son"

About: Russells Hall Hospital

You can't fault the care that my 7 year old received. He was admitted via my gp to have blood test as he had a lump on his neck. The nurses were reassuring and treated both my son and I with dignity. The pediatrician that was on that night made sure that both of us had something to eat as it was during the evening when he was admitted, and I was 8 months pregnant at the time. If any of my children need hospital care again, I would always prefer to have them admitted here.

Thank you for posting your feedback about your son’s stay on our children’s ward. We understand that having a child in hospital can be incredibly stressful so it is good to hear how well our nurses were able to reassure you and your son. It is wonderful to know that the paediatrician looking after your son was able to make you both feel as comfortable as possible during your stay. We have passed your lovely comments on to our children’s ward staff.
