"Are you listening to me? "

I'm wrote this as I lay in my hospital bed in Countess of Chester. On an afternoon I began experiencing back pain and dizziness, within an hour this pain was unbearable so my partner brought me to A&E.

The nursing staff and doctors here are fantastic. They quickly got me a bed as it turned out I had a fever. I had blood and urine tests which I was told didn't show anything except very high white blood cell count. I was quickly ultrasound scanned however this also showed my kidneys, bladder and spleen to be fine. The nurse could see how much pain I was in and admitted me to the A&E observation ward. Shivering with a fever, my partner asked if the window behind my bed could be closed and an extremely rude doctor laughed in his face and shouted at him to get out as visiting hours were over.

I was in severe pain for the next few hours and the nurses were fantastic in getting me morphine and getting me to calm down. I was then transferred to Castle Ward in the morning. As I'd been on IV antibiotics and hydration since I arrived my fever had become low grade and I was going to the loo every hour with no issues. (However one nurse was surprised I was relieving medication without a hospital band on so they sorted this for me. ) Nonetheless I was told to go for a CT scan. I then didn't hear anything until my partner came back to visit me and I told him no one had taken my stats in about 6 hours so he asked what was going on.

Whilst we were waiting I began feeling extremely nauseous and ended up vomiting, the nurse suggested this was from the pain. Finally about evening time a doctor came over to say the CAT scan was clear and so they would treat for a water infection which was indicated slightly on my initial urine test. I've had no test since. This morning I woke with chest pain on breathing, reported it to the doctor who, after listening to my chest, brushed it off as maybe muscular. I was told I can go home at night if I feel like it.

My problem is, I don't think anyone's really got to the root cause of my health concern and I don't think anyone really cares about finding out. I feel no one is actually listening to what I'm feeling and saying. A water infection that is so slight it doesn't show up on any scans or any typical symptoms but can cause high fever, severe pain to the point I'm sick and chest pain, I'm no doctor but I don't trust this what seems to me very lazy diagnosis.
