"My 3 day hospital stay"

I attended A&E 3 times over the last weekend with abdo pain and back pain, I was finally admitted to gastro ward, not complaining about my 3 times in A&E as my symptoms were brewing and on the 3rd time much worse. I admitted to gastro ward for 1 day and saw the consultant I was then transferred out as a sleep out patient to orthopaedic ward. I did not see a doctor for 2 days, and felt I was totally left and forgotten about. I cannot fault the nursing staff and treatment they have me was very good. But have concerns about patients sleeping out onto other wards. I am a staff nurse myself and found it really frustrating.
