I gave birth to my first child on July 10th. I arrived already 10cms & from the minute I got to the delivery suite I was taken care of. My midwife was very professional & kept my calm during my painful contractions, and looked after me very well & as it all went by so quickly I didn't get the chance to say thank you. (I have since sent a card) I ended up needing a c section & all the doctors & midwifes kept me informed every step of the way. The surgeon was particularly good at explaining the procedure & the reasons for it. All the care I received on ward 30 was excellent & I received support with breast feeding & encouragement to get out of bed & get mobile. I can't remember everyone's name who helped me & so can't name names but all staff were superb! I would recommend this hospital to others who are expecting & if I have another child I will not hesitate to go back again! Many thank again for my positive birth experience! You all do such a great job. x
