"Eye clinic"

About: The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (King's Lynn)

Last week I was telephoned 3 times reminding me of an appointment, which I had not forgotten.I arrived 20 minutes before the time of the appointment and was seen !hour 40 minutes after the appointment time, with no explanation for the delay. Is it really necessary to book so many patients in for the same appointment time? It was a very hot, uncomfortable and bewildering wait.To cap it all I then missed my train home

Thank you for taking the time to comment on your experience of attending the Ophthalmology clinic. I am sorry that you were subject to such a long delay and that no one took the time to inform you of why the clinic was delayed and your likely wait. I am particularly sorry that the delays then led to you missing your train home. I will be following up all your concerns with the manager of this service but if you would like to discuss this matter further I would welcome a telephone call or email.
