I would like to say a huge thanks to all the nurses on ward 16, my daughter was in for a day operation around 2/3 weeks ago & felt so at ease! The nurses were fantastic with her & kept her calm the whole time we were there. My daughter was never board, the play staff kept her well entertained & were ever so kind. Thank you so much for making my daughter feel so welcome & relaxed! I think she was a little disappointed when she got home & had to have my cooking as she loved the sandwiches so much! This is the second time i have given this department such a wonderful review, it is 100% deserved & once again, thank you so much!

Thank you ever so much for your lovely comments. The team on ward 16 strive to deliver excellent individualised care. The day case team, along with the play team, work hard to keep all children relaxed prior to theatre, along with their parents. It’s great to get such positive feedback to demonstrate that we achieve this. Andrea Collins, Ward Manager CAU
