About: Good Hope Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

just recovering from day case operation at the day case unit at Good Hope. I was provided with an excellent service by the whole team from the welcome in reception until the time I was discharged. The day case unit is clean bright and relaxing. All the staff are friendly, professional and were continually checking on folk attending to our needs. A visit from the theatre anaesthetic nurse Sandra reassured me prior to my operation and put me right at ease and nurse Carolyn was very attentive in the unit following surgery. The staff all appeared very happy in the work and this added to the relaxed atmosphere. An excellent team.
