"Visit to physio outpatients with back problem"

About: Community Health Services / Community physiotherapy

(as the patient),

Had a recurring back problem which seems to be happening more often now that I am getting older. Had an appointment with Vicky in the Physio Department at St Helens Hospital. The Physio Department is very welcoming and I was dealt with immediately by a nice receptionist and didn't have to wait too long to see the Physiotherapist. I found Vicky very easy to talk to and she asked me lots of questions regarding my problem which I estimated took about half an hour. I then lay on the couch and she gave me a good examination and came to the conclusion that I had been trapping my sciatic nerve. She gave me exercises to do at home and I made another appointment to see her.
