I'm a parent of the patient who received treatment under a general anaesthetic at the day care unit. My child was very distressed and the medical professional team was fantastic in their support, reassurance and their role delivery. I want to give a special acknowledgement to nurse, she's is a gift to the hospital and a credit to her nursing profession.

Thank you for your very positive feedback, which has been shared with staff. We do appreciate what a worrying time for parents when a child is undergoing surgery and are pleased to hear that staff provided an appropriate level of support and reassurance.
