"Rearranging eye operation"

About: Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital / Ophthalmology

(as the patient),

I had to postpone an eye operation, as I was about to have a hip replacement. I decided to take in the letter I was sent, to the Nelson Day Unit, to ask action I needed to take to renegotiate this surgery I required, and was approached by a very friendly nurse, who took my letter and asked me to wait. Within minutes she returned, and then the Waiting List manager came forward, and he was immediately able to give me two new dates for next month. I was so impressed, not only by the speed of this response, but by the very friendly approach of the staff concerned - thank you so much! .
