I was referred as a patient from the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast to the National Centre for Stereotactic Radiosurgery in March 2014. I subsequently met with the Consultant Neurosurgeon in the Centre in April, which led to an appointment for treatment this past week. I have now been discharged back to the care of my Consultant in Belfast. Having returned home, I wanted to bring to your attention the excellent patient care I received during my visits to the Royal Hallamshire in April and this past week. The professionalism, skill and commitment to patient care was most impressive and was highly evident across the various departments and staff who dealt with my wife and me. I would particularly wish to highlight : - Doctors and their colleagues in Neurosurgery and Neuroradiology - Staff in the Medical Support Team within the Centre - The Neuro Day Care Unit nursing and support staff. There are others who dealt with me, but I regret I cannot recall their details. I have had a superb patient experience at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield.
