"the staff in the delivery theatre."

About: Hinchingbrooke Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

the staff in the delivery theatre.

What could be improved

Communication between staff, Start employing staff who do care. More breastfeeding support!

Anything else?

I had my 2nd baby in hinchingbrooke on the delivery suite then went onto the post natal ward. I had a emergency C-sect..all the staff who delivered my baby in theatre were fab totally put me at ease, but post natally on the ward it was discusting. I had no help getting to the bathroom to wash I had to do it my self which was incredibly painful, I asked the HCA to remove my catheter as I was up and walking around, she told me abruptly NO you will have to wait before stomping off, I received no support when trying to breastfeed my daughter ( quite hard to lift and move around after major surgery), the HCA's and Ward cleaners dragged their feet and huffed and puffed constantly! In the end I discharged myself

why do you people take up a caring profession when caring is the last thing you do?
