"Daycare ward (rear of Fothergill Block)"

The care on this unit was outstanding on 14th July 2014. I went in to have a small lump removed from my chest. The nursing staff were wonderful, very friendly and kind. The ward was impeccably clean and well staffed. The theatre staff were very proffesional and told me what was going on the wholetime I was in there. The surgeon was kind, the theatre was very clean. It was all over very quickly as I only needed a local anaesthetic. When I got back to the ward I was given tea and toast with marmalade, which was much appreciated. I was allowed to rest for as long as I needed to. I had a good experience so thank you to all your wonderful staff.
