"Help from the Trauma unit"

About: The Royal London Hospital

My husband suffered a serious fall and had a head wound. The ambulance brought us to A&E at Royal London Hospital where the staff were wonderful, all doctors, nurses and support staff were kind, efficient, friendly and helpful. They showed real concern for both of us and I was able to stay with my husband all the time, which was very comforting for both of us. He was very swiftly given x-rays and CT scans to be sure there were no broken bones or brain/spinal damage. He was helped to shower to get rid of the blood and then treated very gently as he was stitched up. As he had no other serious injuries, we were able to go home and the staff helped us get a cab. Thank God and the British public for the NHS and the wonderful staff at Royal London Hospital.
