"A horrible and frustrating experience"

About: Queen Marys Hospital (Sidcup)

I checked into the Urgent Care service, waited for several hours, after which I was finally seen by the nurse practitioner. I explained my medical situation and she told me I had experienced an alergic reaction to something and that I would get better in the next few days. She made no attempt to understand the pain and discomfort that I was enduring from the allergic reaction, let alone recommend any medication that I could take while I waiting for the reaction so subside. I thought it was ridiculous that I had to make it crystal clear, in no uncertain terms that I was in alot of pain and that I needed something there and then to ease the discomfort. Queen Mary's hospital, if you want to stay open then stop treating patients like trash and give them the respect and the essential care that they both need and deserve.
