My 100 yr old mother was admitted this morning presenting stroke symptoms and was dealt with in a timely, calm and efficient manner resulting in the administration of treatment which probably enhanced her remaining quality of life. Special praise is due to the young female Doctor.

Dear Sir/ Madam, Thank you for taking the time to share this with us. I am so sorry your Mother was admitted with stroke this morning but it is reassuring to know that all the care she needed was provided rapidly by teams working together to enhance her recovery right from the very start. Our teams know that stroke is a medical emergency and swift care saves lives. I will pass on your kind thanks to all in A&E and the stroke unit. I do hope your Mother continues to do well.
