"My partners great care and support "

About: University Hospital Of Wales / Neurology

(as a relative),

My partner was admitted with shadows on the brain from Llandough - when she was admitted she went into severe brain seizures which lasted almost 72 hours, the doctors managed to stop the seizures and from then she's made amazing progress - almost 6 weeks on she is now able to communicate and her short and long term memory is returning. The team on the ward were instrumental at such a desperate time, not only helping her with anything she needed chatting to her and even taking her around the ward in her chair for company! They were also a great support to myself. You are all amazing thanks to you for everything. We'll be back after rookwood to say hi! X

Thank you very much for taking the time to feedback your experience. I am really pleased to hear that your partner is making such good progress and that she received a high standard of care when she was in the care of our Neuroscience ward. It is also very pleasing to hear that you were also provided with support and care throughout her stay. We do recognise that this is a very difficult and anxious time for patients and their families and it is therefore very important to us that your experience is a positive one. the team look forward to saying "hi" to you.

Best wishes to you both for the future
