Last year in March I had a suspected TIA and woke up on ward 5 with no real idea of what had happened to me. I would just like to thank the wonderful staff who looked after me despite me being apparently very difficult to manage. I would wander off and forget where I was and in all honesty probably ran the ward nurses ragged. I cannot remember my first 5 Days, even today. An uncomfortable truth that I do remember is shouting at a nurse ( with I think a Jamaican accent but I might be wrong ). I would love someone to pass on my regards as she was an absolute star, sorry.
I can only say I am eternally grateful to you all, you do fantastic work in difficult circumstances and I would not have made the recovery I have, had it not been for you Guys.
A brilliant, brilliant Hospital. Thank you all so much.
