"Exceptional Treatment in all departments visited"

I had consultations in the vascular clinic on two separate occasions ( June and July 2014). I was also given an ultra sound and subsequently a CT scan. My appointment times for all these procedures inclusing the Pre Admission Clinic were strictly adhered to. The Consultant was extremely professional, helpful and not sparing of his time. His explanations of possible treatment and risks attached were succinct and comprehensive. Having had similar procedures undertaken in a private clinic in the South of England three years previously, the clinical care and professionalism at the Freeman Hospital under NHS care far exceeded my experience in the private clinic. At a time when the NHS is being heavily criticised for its poor standards of care, the Managers, Consultants and staff at the Freeman Hospital should be justly proud of their exceptionally high standards.
