The care was good in the high dependency unit.
I was not informed as to what would happen on arrival, so I was left sitting on a bed. There were visits at different times by different staff, so I was woken up each time. The surgeon on call incorrectly treated a complaint and said I could leave (at midnight).
The food was particularly poor, particularly for vegetarians.
