I phoned up New Surgery Pencoed as I had been told I needed to make an appointment for my 4 year old to have her prescription reviewed. I wanted to prebook an appointment as this was non-urgent and the morning appointment system has proven difficult to access in the past. I was told that no appointments were currently available and I would need to phone back in a weeks time. I'm very surprised by this and think that the current appointment system is extremely difficult for people to access, especially for people who are working.
