I generally find the hospital is a clean place.

What could be improved

more staff desperately!!!!

my nana was recently admitted to ntgh, she was first in ecu, where she was really happy and comfortable and the care she recieved was to a great stantard, she was moved to ward 18, which i must say things went greatly down hill, she was told on several occasions that they had more important things to you, and when she was moved from ecu the porter moved her at 11pm when she arrived at ward 18 she was left sitting in the chair for an hour, the lady in the bed opposite had to call for a nurse as my nana had been left without the button and is unable to get out of chair! another occasion she asked for a blanket and 1 hour later was still waiting until visitors came in, there were many other incidents my parents weren't happy about,but didnt get to air our views as my nana was discharged with very bad news on only having weeks to live, i have never had experinces like this in ntgh but was so angryand unimpressed on how my nana was treated!!
