I cannot understand why, when the opening times are stated as 07:30 to cater for people having to go to work, that the waiting room is filled by 07.00 a.m with OAPs. I know people with Warfarin have to be seen at particular times, but I do not believe they are all there for that. If the times are there for people such as myself, why cannot I be seen to nearly 08:30 which means I loose nearly 2 hours work but the time I arrive into the office?

I am sorry to hear that you have experienced a significant wait in the phlebotomy department early in the morning and that many patients you believed waiting were not of working age. I will of course pass your comments on to the relevant manager for consideration. It is difficult to manage attendance fairly, often patients of pension age travel later in the morning because of their entitelemnt to free travel after 09.30.
