"Dermatology - Skin Condition"

About: Solihull Hospital

Absolute rubbish. I have a skin condition that, currently there is no cure for. the success rate of any medication is minimal - I understand that. I thought that I was supposed to be given all the options available to me. But NO!, I was given 2 options, which I had alrady tried. The third option I was refused point blank. Even though I had to raise it as an option. It is my choice to take this third option, as nothing else is working, and need to try this, but they will not let me. My GP is willing to administer and track my progress if I took the third option, but I need the hospital to recommend it. I was told to have 'ANOTHER' blood test, what this blood test would reveal that the others did not I do not know. It has now been 5 months since I have been awaiting a follow-up appointment - phoned up several times and I get nothing, apart from, we will look into it. this has probably been the worst hospital I have yet come across. I wish now i shold have gone to a different hospital.
