"Poor service from GP receptionists"

About: Somerset PCT

(as the patient),

Well what can we say, you need to book an appointemnt in advance if you are going to be ill.The receptionist are telling disabled people to get down to the centre for 08.30 to make a appointment, the telephone number has changed to a 08 number , which bearing in mind how many people have mobile phones, this call ends up costing a small fortune, why was the number changed?. The receptionistI spoke to are rude. I have no problem what so ever with my Doctor, its just having to run the guantlet everytime you want to get a appointment. I today tried to get a appointment because I have a mole that is raised and has been bleeding, but was told the nearest appointment was March 14th, or try and call the centre in the morning, but as mentioned above this is not pratical due to the centres phone number, I don't have a landline.

My partner is with another very busy practice in Weston town centre, but doesn't have half the troubles I do in getting through to them or getting a appointment.
