About: Yeovil District Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I had an unexpected overnight stay following some day surgery, the staff nurse on duty was a credit to the organisation - she was compassionate and caring and did not make me feel like an added burden on a busy ward.

I work within the NHS in Commissioning and am used to hearing only when things go wrong.

I felt that the care I received was so good that I wanted to share a positive story for once - there is excellent care out there and we should be proud of the NHS.
