"Premature Birth"

About: Pilgrim Hospital

I was rushed into Pilgram hospital at 25+2 weeks pregnant, I was on holiday in Skegness from Ilkeston. I delivered my baby 6 hours after being admitted and I could fault the staff whatsoever. From the paramedics, to the midwives, to the NICU staff, and even the transport team who transferred my little boy back home to Nottingham City Neonatal. I was looked after with the upmost care, it was a terrifying experience for myself and my partner, not knowing what to expect, but, thanks to these guys acting as fast as they did, my little boy is now 10 months old and will soon be discharged out of hospital and be coming home! Thank you so much guys! From Gemma Bolton (Baby Bolton born 23.08.13) Decided to call him William in the end!

Gemma, thank you so much for the lovely comments and for taking the time to send them. It is much appreciated and I will pass the comments on to all the neonatal staff involved. I am pleased to hear William has now gone home and I wish you and your family all the best.

Hi Gemma,

Thank you so much for posting such lovely comments. It is always good to get positive feedback and I will ensure the staff involved see the post. It is also great to hear that William is going home! The last 10 months must have been a difficult time for you but now you can enjoy a new life with William at home.
