"Physiotherapy Dept Out Patient"

About: Wharfedale Hospital

Physio staff have been great - 2 appointments to date. Only "gripe" is that on one occassion, having booked in with receptionist she apparently went off duty without alerting physio to my arrival and I very nearly missed my appointment. I have since seen a note stuck to the side of the desk - below waist height so not entirely visible - stating that if you are waiting for more than (10?) mins you should alert reception. would be more helpful if : a) reception could log you in accurately and not need to be re-alerted at all - many patients in this v. small department are after all struggling with mobility and associated pain issues. b) put the notice on the desk/wall somewhere clearly visible and/or draw the patient's attention to it when they are booking in. Hosp Parking is easy tho' charges have increased over recent years. Hosp is not overly large so easy to access depts. Generally each visit I have had to various depts has been completed well within 1 hour and waiting has been minimal.
