What I liked

I was admitted as an emergency patient with appendicitis. I had some problems and had to be sent to the Surgical High Care Ward. The treatment was the most professional and respectful that I have ever encountered and the staff were dedicated and caring.and I could not have wished for better.

What could be improved

Nothing could be improved on this ward. It was excellent.

Anything else?

When I was taken from this ward, where I had high care (as the name suggests) to a normal ward, I was left in a room, on my own, for four hours. I was terribly upset at going from one extreme to the other. It was most distressing but once the staff realised that I had been unattended for such a long period, they couldn't have been better.
