"First class colorectal service"

Although it is very worrying to receive a diagnosis of bowel cancer I have nothing but praise for the excellent service I have received from the top class surgical team led by the consultant. I have been very impressed by the service from start to finish including pre-operative assessment, the support of the specialist nurses, input from the research nurse, very prompt and clear feedback following surgery from the registrar, great care from the ward teams in both the post operative care unit and ward C14 and also very efficient care from the surgical triage unit. I would not hesitate to wholeheartedly recommend this service as a shining example of just how good NHS care can be.
