"An operation"

I recently had an operation to remove a tumor and parathyroid gland in my throat. The treatment I received was outstanding.

I had an initial scan, X-rays and consultation regarding high calcium levels. The general surgery team then carried out an operation to remove a parathyroid gland along with an attached tumour. I have since had a follow up consultation with the surgeon, Mr Pain, who confirmed everything had gone satisfactorily.

Throughout my treatment I found that everything went extremely well. All of my appointments took place on the allotted day and were on time, almost to the minute. I found the staff in all departments to be polite, friendly and sincere. I would specifically like to mention Mr Pain and the surgical team, including the anaesthetist all of whom were exceptional.
