"Worst treatment"

About: Trowbridge Community Hospital

Went in with possible broken finger. Had to wait 2 hours. When I was seen I was treated with no respect but the rudest nurse. She asked why I had come in if I had not taken painkillers to which I replied to check if it is broken. She made me feel like I was wasting their time then proceeded to say that there is always one award patient and I was hers of the day. She then lectured me on taking painkillers before I come in the future. Will not be returning.

Thanks for letting us know about your experience. I sorry that the service and care wasn't up to the standard expected. I've raised your comments with Jane Ingham, the Lead Nurse for the Minor Injury Unit. She would very much welcome the opportunity to discuss your experiences in more detail, so that we can understand how we can improve our service in the future. If you would like to discuss things further, Jane can be contacted on 01225 711378. Or alternatively, please email customer.service@gwh.nhs.uk and we can put you in touch.
