I was admitted for gallbladder removal on 25 June, I wish to express my gratitude and thanks for the care I received from the staff on the admissions ward, to the surgeon and the surgical team, and finally the day care unit. I was looked after in a caring and professional manner throughout my stay. There appeared to be staff resource issues on the day care unit, but this this did not detract from the care I received, but I felt at times the staff were pushed to the limit in order to give the high quality of nursing care they so desire. My overall experience was a positive one and I have on my return home praised the staff to my friends and family, especially in light of the press release that is currently circulating.
