"Shoulder surgery -inpatient"

From the moment I walked in the door on 27th June 2014 I felt welcomed. The reception staff were polite and pleasant and one carried my bag to my 'pod' to await pre-op checks. The nurse, consultant and anaesthetist all visited me and were friendly and informative. The nurses in the recovery room were fantastic! As soon as I was awake enough the nurse got me a drink and I was taken up to my own room. My husband was there waiting for me and said he had been well looked after by the staff while waiting. I was checked on regularly by the nursing staff and the physiotherapist. Once I had lunch I was given post operative advise and medication and told I could go when I wanted. My consultant visited before I left and explained exactly what had been done and what to expect next. The next day I received a phone call at home to 'check all was well'. The care I received from every single member of staff at The Circle was outstanding and I would highly recommend the hospital to anyone.
