"My Girlfriend had been in Labour ..."

About: Worthing Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked My Girlfriend had been in Labour for 4 days and come the last day the midwifes tried to speed things thru for us so our new born baby could be born. The staff in the delivery suite are the nicest people and caring people I have ever encountered. Hats off to all of those nurses/midwifes in that ward they really deserve a good compliment. The nurses made me feel very relaxed and explained evrything to both of us. If I was unsure I would ask any questions I had and I know my girlfriend would have done the same thing. Towards the end of the delivery things did take a turn for the worst with our little girls cord wrapped round her neck 3 times and round her body once!!!! After a few loud shouts down the corridor we had peadeatricians and all sorts of people in our room. All these people helped our little girl have a fighting chance of life and today 10 months later she is doing fantastically. Surprisingly she was out of hospital the next day. There is one person in particular I think I need to write about and that is a midwife called Ive. At first I thought she was rude but came to the conclussion that that was how she was and to be honest with you I needed her to be like that because towards the end I couldn't have done with all the fairy stuff at the end and she was brilliant tough and very assertive.!!!! What could be improved? The Transfer time between the delivery suite and the ward. Other than that I really couldn't fault them
