I recently had cause to atend A&E following a fall at home. I was dealt with promptly and courteously and was kept informed throughout. Staff told me it was a relatively quiet time of day but that the unit had been very busy over the past week. Undoubtedly this must affect the experience of patients attending the hospital as I'm sure the workload and types of emergencies seen can be unpredictable. However I speak as I find. From the receptionist, triage nurse, radiographer to consultant, the staff were professional, informative, competent and , more importantly, kind. Well done YDH!
