"filthy A&e dept but great staff"

About: Homerton University Hospital

following my boyfriends severed ulnar nerve injury we felt supported by the staff and dealt with in a reassuring manner. The doctor was professional. the nurse - shipped in from neonatal due to understaffing looked a bit overwhelmed by all the blood, but was very attentive. However, despite everything going on around us I was dismayed by the filthy a and e ward... Matted hair wrapped around the wheel of the dressings table and when the side of the bed was lowered down it displayed a load of filth. Horrific! a miracle there aren't more MRSA Incidents.
