I had a hip replacement, I went into the operating theater at about 16:00 and left the hospital about 26 hours later fully mobile although crutch assisted. During my hospitalisation I was expertly and almost painlessly catheterised and the nurses had to cope with the unpleasant after effects of the anaesthetics. All the staff were friendly, helpful and provided all the information I required. This was a hospital and ward operating at the top of their game. Thank you very much indeed.
